High absorbency

Chelated magnesium in the form of bisglycinate is a highly absorbable form. Compared to other forms, it is very well tolerated and causes minimal side effects.

Our research shows that pregnant women often suffer from cramps, restless legs syndrome and abdominal pain, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Magnesium has a positive effect on these symptoms, and in the form of bisglycinate it has an overall relaxing effect. Therefore, we recommend taking the product in the evening.

The most important mineral of our time

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that magnesium deficiency has been occurring in the population in recent years. During pregnancy, breastfeeding or intense training, there is naturally an increased need for magnesium, and with it the demands on its intake in the diet. However, with increasing food processing, the amount of magnesium in food is constantly decreasing.

Only one form

During development, we also considered other forms of magnesium. One option was magnesium malate, which is energizing compared to bisglycinate and is therefore recommended for use in the morning. These two forms are best suited for separate supplementation. Both are highly absorbable and will replenish the overall magnesium level in the body. However, their combination does not make sense - one form will "kick" the user and the other will calm them down.

Magnesium supplementation is associated with improvements in depressive symptoms, according to a 2015 study. Magnesium supplementation may therefore alleviate low mood and depression.

Why doesn't your magnesium contain vitamin B6?

Our customers often asked why we didn't have our own magnesium and what supplement we would recommend as a complement to our products. However, we always faced a challenge here. There are many magnesium supplements available on the market, but it is very difficult to find 'pure' magnesium without additives, in a high-quality form, and without additional vitamins such as vitamin B6. B6 is already included in our complexes, and taking additional vitamin B6 is, in our opinion, completely unnecessary. When in excess, it is excreted through urine, placing an unnecessary burden on our kidneys.
