Liposomal form – best absorption

In this form, the vitamin molecule is hidden in a liposome – a vesicle made of a phospholipid membrane. Thanks to this, it passes through the digestive tract intact and achieves a much higher absorbability than the regular form.

Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. As a component of a number of enzymes, it participates in energy metabolism reactions.

Increases iron absorption

Iron is essential for the normal formation of hemoglobin and red blood cells, normal energy metabolism and cell division. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron, which is why it is recommended to take it with food (breakfast or lunch).

Pregnant and lactating mothers have an increased need for vitamin C. However, ensuring its higher intake is appropriate for the majority of the population, especially in the autumn and winter months.


Vitamin C molecules are encapsulated in vesicles made of phospholipids (liposomes) obtained from sunflower. This protects the vitamin as it passes through the digestive tract and prevents interactions with other food components. After the liposomes pass from the stomach to the small intestine, they gradually break down and are absorbed.

You often ask...

Can I combine it with other Verra products?

Yes. Some Verra products already contain a smaller amount of vitamin C, in which case we recommend taking only one capsule of Liposomal Vitamin C daily.

Can I take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Yes, we recommend pregnant and breastfeeding women consume one capsule daily (500 mg). This amount is generally very well tolerated and considered completely safe. For maximum certainty, we recommend consulting your doctor.

Can I empty the capsules and drink the contents?

We would rather not recommend this, as the capsule serves a purpose. The contents may stick to the glass or oral cavity, so an insufficient amount would reach the intestinal mucosa.

Can I increase the dose when I'm sick?

Short-term increases in the vitamin dose are fine with us. Unless otherwise specified by a doctor, do not exceed 2,000 mg (4 capsules) daily. Also, keep in mind that the liposomal form is much more absorbable, so a smaller intake is sufficient for the same effect compared to regular vitamin C.

Díky tomuto zázraku jsme zvládli zimu bez nemocí.
Každý rok jsme bojovali s teplotami, kašlem, rýmou a celkově oslabenou imunitou. Blížil se čas,kdy měla přijít na svět naše dcera a proto jsme si řekli,že nesmíme podcenit naše zdraví a proto jsem po porodu k hořčíku a komplexu po porodu začala brát C-čko a přítel taky C-čko.
