Frequently asked questions
Can I open the capsules and drink the contents?
We would not recommend this, as the capsule shell serves an important function. The capsule contents may stick to the glass and the oral cavity, preventing sufficient absorption in the intestinal lining.
Can I take this while breastfeeding?
Yes, you can. However, due to high demand, we have developed the Postpartum Complex, which is more suitable for this period. Its composition is focused on supporting the production and quality of breast milk and the body's recovery after childbirth. In terms of micronutrients, it helps improve the quality of breast milk and colostrum.
Why does the Complex contain exactly 400μg of folate? My gynecologist recommended 800μg of folic acid per day.
According to clinical studies, 400μg of folate is a sufficient amount. Additionally, Verra Fertility & Pregnancy Complex contains folate in its active (methylated) form, ensuring maximum absorption compared to other forms. Many other supplements contain folate in its inactive (synthetic folic acid) form, which requires higher doses for effective supplementation.
Can I take all the products from the package at the same time of day?
We would not recommend this. Generally, we suggest taking them in the morning since gastrointestinal (GIT) activity slows down in the evening, leading to lower nutrient absorption. However, magnesium in the bisglycinate form is an exception due to its biological activity. It has calming effects and promotes quality sleep, so we recommend taking it after dinner.
